Dr. N. Rajamaheswari Awarded the Prestigious IOG Dr. Stya Paul Award 2024 for Excellence in Urogynaecology
Dr. N. Rajamaheswari, Chairperson of the Women of Urology (WoU) division of the Urological Society of India, played a pivotal role in USICON 2025, held from January 9 to 12 in Chennai. Her exceptional contributions as an invited speaker and session organizer highlighted the growing importance of women in urology.
The award was officially presented during the IOG Dr. Stya Paul Awards Ceremony held on 2nd March 2025 in New Delhi. Each year, a distinguished jury comprising national and international experts selects the most impactful research publications for recognition. Dr. Rajamaheswari was chosen for this honor in acknowledgment of her significant contributions to the advancement of urogynaecology.
As part of the event, an oration lecture was delivered by Dr. Errico Zupi, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Siena, Italy. A scientific symposium was also organized on 1st March 2025, featuring discussions on the latest developments in the field.
